My view of the solar eclipse
See the crescents in amongst the dappled shadows of the leaves.
Picassa, the art center class knew to also view the eclipse through the shadows.
One of the art center volunteers and one of the employees from the Ogden Symphony and Ballet shared their glasses so we all were able to view the actual solar eclipse. Thank you! And thank you Melissa Seamons for this great picture of Picassa

The snow is melting
The snow in our yard is melting, the snow drops are in bloom, the temperatures are reaching the mid 60s, and tomorrow rain is forecasted. Did you notice that I said rain instead of snow?
Spring is on its way to Ogden Canyon. Oh, how lovely! Mollie and I enjoying sharing a patch of sun that falls through our window onto our spring green bedspread.

Bits and Pieces; Notes and Observations
I have bits and pieces with notes and observations written on them spread around. I thought I share a few with you.
Last Week:
Over the mountains
Cumulonimbus clouds puff
Like heated popcorn.
Friday Night before the cold front moved in:
A muggy warm night
The tempting spray of sprinklers
A quick cooling run....
Friday Night:
A jar of seashells
Collected along the shore
Ocean memories.
Today, around 7:30 p.m. while leaving Layton:
Between sun and mountains a line of clouds fill the sky creating stripes of light and shadow on the mountainside.
