Puddle of Winter Sunlight

I walked into my bedroom to see a puddle of winter sunlight, and I jumped in.  My bedside table held a book which I opened to read.  I snuggled under a sun warmed blanket.  All that was missing was my warm ball of fluff, Mollie.  She as is her usual way was out patrolling the yard, barking at a fisherman.

Watercolor Snowdrops

Here it is February, and we are having temperatures in the 50s.  Very odd for this time of year.  The snowdrops are up and blooming.  So yes, I painted a few and worked on interesting backgrounds.
Later, I turned these miniature painting ino embellishments for the front of cards.
I thought they would be fun for the month of letters project, I  thought I would participate in this month.
