A little shopping in preparation for March.  Don't you just love polka dots and the shamrocks are just perfect for the month especially for St. Patrick's day.  As usual, I will be wearing both orange and green that day.

Waiting for room at the lunch counter

The goldfinches have flown in to find a heavy snow.  They have to wait to share space on the bird feeder with the chickadees.
A few juncos are out and about.  They feed under the feeder.

Fleeting Thoughts of Spring

My Valentine Tulips have faded. Although there is still a beauty to their form.

Then winter has returned with a storm that has already dumped about ten to twelve inches and is expected to continue much of the day.

My Mother's Pocket Bunnies

I can not decide which one of my mother's pocket bunnies should join collection.

I have a pocket santa, two pocket witches, and of course a pocket doll.  I am thinking the bunny with the green dress and pink polka dots, shall join my collection.

Tonight's inspiration

A midnight blue sky
Ringed in dark silhouettes
Is starlight pierced.

Last Night Inspired

The snowy landscape
Reflects a silver - blue glow.
The full moon rises.

A twisted Maple,
A survivor, scars cobbled.

Winter Constellation

Over my shoulder,
The stars of Orion's belt
Glow in a dark sky.
