Adding Warmth to a Winter Day

Brrr!  I believe the canyon had a high temperature of 25 degrees today.  A cold canyon day.  While driving home, I notice that some kind soul had given the Smokey the Bear sign a warm woolen scarf and cap.

Christmas feast

After a day of stormy weather, the sun is out,  the sky is blue,and the temperatures cold.  Stetller Jay and Chickadees are feasting on dried Elderberries and black sunflower seeds.

Inside, we are preparing for our Christmas Day feast.

White Christmas ?

A white christmas is not in the forecast for Ogden Canyon.  Sunshine and blue skies are forecast along with cold temperatures.

More Blankets

The weather has gotten cold.  Time for more blankets to snuggle under, a few good books to read and Mollie at my side.

Brrr!

We had a wild snowstorm that dumped a good amount of snow.  And now the temperatures are in the teens.  This helps make our walk a quick one, but there is always a few moments to enjoy the beauty of the season.
