Travels away from Ogden Canyon

With a friend, I took a couple of days away from the snow  to visit my niece and her husband- - - and had a couple of days of rain.  And yes, on the day we left the sun came out.

On the Monterey pier, we watched jelly fish in the water.  Two large orange and pink jelly fishand a bunch of much small white ones.  Farther out in the bay, two sea otters played.

We visited a roadside market filled with vegetables and fruits.
It was interesting to see autumn leaves along with blooming flowers.  We enjoyed the flowers outside our motel room.

Vacation

I visited my niece in Monterey, California.  We went to the Aquarium & Fisherman's Wharf; walked the beach; visited the tidal pools along 17 mile drive; shopped in Carmel; viewed the Ansel Adam's exhibit at the Monterey Museum of Art.  We had good food and a good time.  My camera went with me, unfortunately its battery was at home in the charger.  I wanted to make sure that the battery was fully charged so I could take lots of pictures.

I did have my paint set.  I painted on another painting while on vacation, I left it in my motel room.  The manager cleaned up my room while I was gone.  He threw it away as he thought it was trash since I had torn the paper down to fit in my luggage.
